Interesting events and activities from CBC Radio 1

So much to learn and do as heard by Elaine on CBC’s Radio 1.

Tying in with WASM’s 50 Artists for 50 Days featured on WASM’s Facebook page, Elaine is recommending the Black Stories Collection - Being Black in Canada on CBC Gem:

CBC’s afternoon programme Let’s Go with host Sabrina Marandola offers more than just news, weather, and traffic updates. Interviews and activities galore can be found right here - listed are current and past episodes: https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-383-lets-go

Ones that Elaine found relevant to arts and culture (we will throw in a little wine know-how, spices, and cats too!):

Many of the outstanding events at Festival des arts de St-Sauveur had to be cancelled, but there is something very special this season called A Shared Solitude. Read all about it right here: https://festivaldesarts.ca/en/a-shared-solitude/the-project/description/

UQAM Le Coeur des Sciences City Tours:
The tours are given in French and take place in the downtown core of Montreal, but are so popular that the tours in August are filled. More will be scheduled in September:
