By erecting a sculpture of nurses in a public place, St Mary's alumni [I am a member] wishes to recognize ALL nurses, past and present who have contributed and continue to enhance patient care of Montrealers since Jeanne Mance. We need your help spreading the word and contributing whatever you can to help get this sculpture erected so people will learn and remember what our nurses did and continue to do”.     To donate you can also call Catherine McIninch Murphy at 514-849-1503.

Dear WASM Members,
For those of you who are interested in Montreal English Theatre, I'd like to invite you to attend any or all of my Montreal Theatre Going class this Spring. I try to present most of the current English Montreal Theatre productions from Sept. - June. Also, I try to give the necessary background for each current play and obtain the scripts so that you can find out something about each play. We do read part of most of the scripts – no obligation. We have at least 4 speakers per session. Our speakers are actors, directors, or playwrights of the current plays. Quite frequently we have some very high-profile theatre people with class discussions.
We meet on Mon. mornings from 10:00 to noon and have a break from 11:00 - 11:15. The address is 1857 de Maisonneuve W., Suite 500 corner of St. Marc. It’s very close to the Guy Metro – just take the St Mathieu exit and turn right. As there is no receptionist, there is an entrance code. Please email me at
donnadavidson35  or telephone me at 514-739-57444.
Spring Session schedule has been sent to you in the email version of the newsletter. I hope to see some of you on Monday, Donna Davidson.
Please do send in anything of interest for me to forward to our WASM members, even travel. Check out some of my photos from Lima, Peru, in the previous blog post.
