WASM remembers Annette Rudy
It is with great sadness that WASM learns of the passing of Annette Rudy, long time WASM member. As Annette Wolfstein-Joseph says, “Annette Rudy was a member of WASM for a number of years. She served on the board when I was still on it and we were two of the three Annette’s on the board at that time. She was a very gracious and lovely person”.

Festival Bloomsday Montreal
Tour guide Donovan King tells us about the famine and epidemics that marred Irish Montreal’s history, and about the solidarity Irish refugees received from the Mohawk people. Virtual Walking Tour: Sunday, June 14, 10:00-11:30 am. A Bloomsday tradition in the days of pandemic! Donovan King will lead us on a virtual walking tour. We’ll watch his pre-recorded journey through the history of Irish Montreal, including sites that recorded the impact of past pandemics on our city. Postponed Event:
As you most likely already know, many cities across the United States
and Canada are experiencing mass protests for the Black Lives Matter movement.
This is a conversation that is long overdue for the country and the
world-at-large. In support of those collective voices protesting, we have made
the decision to yield The National Arts Drive and postpone the date to Saturday, June 20, 2020.
