Announcements for December 2017

Make your own glass ornament or paper weight at the Glass Blowing Company, Espace Verre / 1200 Mill St. Cost: $35 (includes tax). Register in person or by phone: 514-933-6849. Your non-refundable payment will confirm your registration. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time. Because the ornaments must be annealed overnight, they will be available for pick-up the following Tuesday. Espace Verre also has a Boutique with great gift buys (even glass jewellery). Here are the days and hours for the activity:

Nov. 25, 26 and Dec. 2-3, 8-9-10, 15-16-17. For Friday evenings: 4pm to 10pm and weekends from 10am to 4:30pm.

Bob Bachelor and The Lyric Theatre Singers return to Concordia University’s beautiful Loyola Chapel to perform fresh, unique arrangements of carols, holiday standards and rare gems, ranging in styles from Calypso, Celtic, and Gospel to Pop, Broadway medleys, and Chanukah favourites. To further enrich the magical experience are the talented instrumentalists: Sheila Hannigan (cello), Tim Malloch (flute), Robin Best (harp), and Peter Colantonio (percussion, keyboard) who join forces with Benjamin Kwong (piano) to serve up a family concert to kick off the season with festive enthusiasm.
