Congratulations to all the winners of our WASM Annual Members' Juried Art Show and Sale 2018.Thank you to EVERYONE for a very successful and fun-filled exhibit. We will send out all the winners and other info on the show next week.
Outing to the St. Henri Historical Society for Friday, May 18, 2018 at 4pm. Free. The St. Henri Historical Society is at 521 Place St. Henri.
Outing to the Glen for an Art Tour on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2pm lasting about an hour, and free. Wheel chairs available.
Fellow member, Vera Burt, is looking for donations of paintings for the West Hill Grandmothers' Group fundraiser in Sept. 2018. Please refer to the email version of this newsletter for more info.
Fellow member, Dianne Robinson, invites WASM members to see the exhibit of textile art that her group Text'Art is involved in. Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:30 to 7pm at the Osler Library History of Medicine / 3rd floor / 3655 Promenade Sir William Osler / RSVP: medicalmuseum.med@mcgill.ca .  
Thursdays in May 2018 from 2pm to 4pm or 11am to 1pm: Free Seniors Workshop at the MMFA. Theme for May: "Creating mini-book or Fanzine".
THURSDAY, May 17 — 12:30 to 1:30 pm. For the Atwater Library Lunchtime Series, Ellie Clavier-Rothstein reflects on Charles Dickens’ visit to Montreal in May 1842 and Andrew Macdougall gives a dramatic reading of "Bob Sawyer’s Party" from The Pickwick Papers.
